Premium Bills:

Premiums are billed 20 30 days before they are due, depending on the type of policy. The date the bill is created is printed on the premium notice for your reference.

Premium Due Date:

Premiums are due at the beginning of the billing period. For example, for the June 1st July 1st premium, the due date is June 1st.

Unpaid Premium Billings:

Your policy is affected in one of two ways if the premium is not paid:
  • If your policy has cash value, either the policy's cash value and dividends will be used to pay the premium, or a policy loan will be automatically taken. You will be notified in writing if either method is used.
  • If your policy does not have cash value, a late pay notice will be sent to you if payment is not received in our office within 25 days after the due date. If the premium is not received in our office by the due date given on the late pay notice, your coverage will be discontinued.

Automatic Premium Payments:

Please call us at 1-800-798-6600 (for policies purchased through a local representative) or 1-800-779-5433 (for policies purchased by mail or phone) to request an Automatic Payment Plan form to be sent to you.

Internet Payment:

If you would like to pay your premiums on the Internet, please go to the following Internet address: eservice.cunamutual.com/billing. If you are a new user, click on "New User? Register Now" and follow the registration steps. If you are not a new user, you may just sign in. You may then click on "Make a Payment" to pay your premium, which is listed under the Payment Options Menu. This option is FREE.

Premium Payment Address:

If you have the premium notice, send the payment to the CUNA Mutual Group address printed on the notice. If you do not have the premium notice, you can find the correct mailing address for your product on the previous service page within the "Contact Us" information.

Please be sure to write your policy number on your check or money order to help us identify which policy to apply the payment.
